I am new here and I think I did this completely wrong. I did the "more about me" on the main page and my cry for help on a personal page, so I think I need to do this all over, sorry everyone. I have never done this so please bear with me. I am searching for help. I am a grandmother of six beautiful, loving grandchildren who I love dearly. The father of two is currently incarcerated, the father of two just recently got out of prison and can't find a job anywhere because he was incarcerated, the last two live with me, along with my elderly mother. I am currently un-employed due to three back to back knee surgeries and a stroke before that. I have always taught my grandchildren the true meaning of Christmas but now that they are getting older, going to school and watching TV, they see that now there is Santa Claus. And they want to know how come Santa forgets about them, and no one else in their class. It breaks my heart because they are such good children. Please if anyone can find it in their hearts to help me with anything, gifts, advice, no matter how big or small, so I can show them that they were never on Santa's naughty list (yes, they now know about the list also) I would be so grateful. I live in Milwaukee, WI. I have tried all the agencies here and they all have helped as many people as they can or it is too late. I never knew that I should try to get help long before this and now, it is getting close to the big day and I can't find anything. Please someone help me. 49 year young grandmother of six beautiful, energetic, loving grandchildren who I love with all my heart!! Recently lost a job, I really loved, due to three back to back surgeries. But in this economy there are plenty of people in the same boat, so I try very hard not to let it get me down.  I am a very sensitive and loving person. I love and pray for everybody, whether they love my or not.  Sometimes that means my feelings get hurt alot because not everyone feels the same. God Bless Everyone!!

Hello. I have never done this before, so I truly don't know where to start. I am looking for help for my six grandchildren. The first two, have a father who is incarcerated, the next two, have a father who just got out, and now, cannot find a job because he was incarcerated. The last two live with me and I recently lost my job due to three back to back knee surgeries. I do receive unemployment, which is no-where near what I used to earn. I would much rather be working, which I am sure that everyone without a job feels the same. Up until now, I have been able to tell my grandchildren the true meaning of christmas. But now, because they are growing up, going to school and watching TV, they realize that there is alot more to Christmas. And now when they go to school, they are the usually the only one in their class that says they only received "The True Meaning of Christmas" speech for Christmas. I am asking anyone, anywhere for big, small, little any type of help or advice.I have tried all the links but it's the same story, there are many people in the same situation.
